The Prophet SAW in his ascent to Jannah could smell a beautiful smell and asked Jibrael what the beautiful smell was. When sleep overcomes you during these nights of Ramadan, remember that the Night of Power, or Laylatul-Qadr maybe upon us. One of the greatest gifts to the ummah was given to our Prophet (peace be upon him) on his night journey to the heavens – the five daily salah. Another blessed gift to the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the night of Laylatul Qadr. For those who stand in salah through this night, it is worth the worship of 1000 nights.
