ISocNews was first envisioned in 2006 as an online magazine that serves as an information link between all the Muslim students of London, the south and their Islamic Societies. After a lot of hard work and plenty of duaas, here it is!

  InshaAllah, this will be a benefit to each and every Islamic Society.
  Rather than overshadowing an individual Isoc’s website, we pray that this
  will compliment it. Links to each website will be in the Links section, but
  inshaAllah the bonds between us will extend beyond this.

We've been encouraged by the wonderful ideas that people have had and how they see ISocNews fitting in. Some have seen it's potential to be used as forum to highlight important issues, like why so many Muslims are running away from their ISocs. Others see it as a chance to spread knowledge amongst the student population and perhaps help to mobilise them. Still others just want somewhere to share information, jokes and other stuff... 

Originally a ULU ISoc Network project, it is hoped that ISocNews will grow to be used by other like-minded Muslim youth organizations across the country inshaAllah. The vision is to make this into a weekly magazine, with regularly updated features and content inshaAllah. However, to do this – we’ll need more volunteers to get involved and more duaas.
