Aaaah Sunday evenings. How I hate thee. The end of my weekend and I realise that I’ve done nothing of any use or enjoyment. All I have to look forward to is another dreary week of slogging away at work/ university. There’s nothing good on TV (there never is unless you count “Come dine with me.”) There are no shops open. Everyone else is caught in the same situation as you – stuck somewhere between boredom and depression.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have something interesting to happen on a Sunday evening? Wouldn’t it be great to get an inspirational talk that would motivate you to face the rest of the week? Wouldn’t it be awesome of the reminder given was 20 minutes long only so you didn’t feel like it was going on forever? Wouldn’t it be great if it was online so that all you needed was two clicks and you were straight in?
Well, worry no more – the Muslim Student Network reminder series is here to save the day!
Every Sunday at 9pm sharp (GMT not Muslim Mean Time) all you have to do is click on the link provided and you are instantly transported out of your current situation of watching paint dry and into a funny, informative and useful mini-Webinar on hot topics. So if you’d rather not sit there watching the 30th repeat of Deal or no Deal, email muslim.student.network1@gmail.com and make Sunday into a Funday! (Did I just write that?)
